Originally from the UK. Now based in Tokyo, Japan.
My work is inspired by life and existence; the cycles and systems which support them, and the ineffable nature and mystery of life itself.
I am interested in the essential meaninglessness of reality, and the models of belief and faith which humans create in their quest for meaning.
I like to paint with photographs, and sculpt with natural elements – primarily water and light.
I strongly believe in the potential of technology to make the world a better place, when used with respect for, and consideration of, life and nature.
Although the past and future do not exist, I acknowledge the value of tradition, of experience, of memory and of dreams.
